What To Wear During The Festive Season?

In a few days we’re celebrating Christmas, and the next weekend it’s the new years eve. Many clothing dilemmas for those who are still not sure on what to wear.

The given is, of course, to wear a dress as a woman, either a long, short or mid-length. You can also opt for some festive skirts, trousers or jumpsuits, but that belongs to a different post. I want to share some ideas on what type of dresses to wear that makes you look classy yet festive during these two important weekends.

New Year’s Eve seems to be a popular night for women to wear glitter and embellished outfits. I’m not so big on that, but I still think some dresses can look classy and chic even though they have got a bit of glitter (below you’ll see some examples.) As long as the embellishment is done tastefully, without taking over the show, I think it can be fun for an evening attire.

If you’re not keen on the sparkles, then wearing a long dress can feel very festive on such a big night out. New years eve is one of those nights of the year, where you never run a risk of being overdressed, so you can happily go all in with the gowns and glamour and feel completely in place!

Christmas, on the other hand, is more of a family event, and you should aim to dress classy instead of provocative. If you’re celebrating with elderly and families, it’s not an appropriate to showcase cleavage and too much skin. Think more conservative clothing that leaves the rest to the imagination; it won’t look boring if you make it look interesting! And if you want to go all in with your Christmas vibe, then the color Red is the optimal choice, matching Santa Claus and the traditional decoration.

I’ve gathered some inspiration for different types of dresses. All JetsetBabe approved regarding classiness and elegance. The festive season is officially here; So let’s enjoy it, be jolly and look amazing on top of it! Happy Holidays to all my dear readers!

  1. Dear Jetsetbabe,

I think I have all the right resources for starting the Jetset lifestyle, I have been following your blog for a long time and I also have done the steps in your book. My question is how do I start to get acquainted with people of the jet set social circle? Do I go to the “it” clubs and spark a conversation with them if I see them? How do I start? I’m a bit lost.

Thanks for your time and blessing us with your amazing blog!!
