Suits don’t only belong in the boardroom! This spring, matching your jacket with your trousers have been the ultimate thing to wear! Not only have we seen high-street shops like Zara go all-in reproducing this trend in many different variations, but also the JetsetBabes on Instagram.
Wearing a suit in a feminine way can be done if you play around with colors, material, and fit. It’s okay if it’s a little bit oversized, sometimes something in a size bigger can look chic if worn the right way! But don’t underestimate the fitted look either. It’s just that sometimes it can look a bit like business attire, depending what color it is.
One thing that I’ve noticed is that most of the suits are worn in bright colors. Especially pastels and white! I think the colors I’ve seen most of has been baby blue and pastel pink. But here there are no rules. Just pick a color you like and that you know suits your hair and skin tone.
The suit is very user-friendly. It can be worn both day and night, with or without heels. However, I’d recommend wearing heels with it, especially if the trouser is long! I truly love long trousers for this reason as it’s a perfect way to make your legs look really long if you wear heels or wedges. Perfect for all the petite ladies out there!
