  1. For Polo In the Toronto, Ontario Canada area,,- try to attend the annual “Polo for Heart” charity event, held every June, at the nice Fox Den Farms venue.

  2. There is one thing that bothers me as a new fan. I see a lot of pictures where the lady has placed her handbag on the table. Is that really appropriate? My mother, who was young in the 1940:ies and very particular about etiquette would have said NO! What is your take on this? Where do put my bag? I guess it varies depending on location so maybe a short video about handbags at the bar, the elegant restaurant, the Parisian open air café, the beach club, at a private dinner in an elegant home etc could be an idea.

    • Hi. I agree, to not put purses on tables, if possible, since they may be dusty on the bottom. My elegant mother always said purses or clutches should be placed at one’s feet, or hung by the strap on edge if chair, or even kept in one’s lap . Some stores carry a small folding purse hook to clip onto edge of table. However, Morher said sometimes a little evening purse might be placed on table but only after the meal, it at coffee, when most plates have been removed
I suppose it depends on situation or if there is space? Cheers !
