My healthy diet

Since I’m all about getting fit again, I’ve back to my usual diet with no cheating this time. Thankfully I don’t live close to any supermarket anymore, so any impulsive cravings can fuck off literally speaking 🙂

An amazing thing that I love is food shopping online and get it delivered home. I truly recommend it because browsing in supermarkets it’s a killer if you don’t want to get tempted to buy anything you shouldn’t. The less temptation the better. There for living on your own + shop food online is amazeballs when you want to loose weight and avoid carbs. Easy peasy! Plus I love the fact I don’t need to carry any heavy bags, or worse be seen with those shopping trolleys with wheels, lol.

Anyway, as you know by now my diet contains: No Sugar, No Carbs, No Processed food.

So what do I eat then?

Let me introduce my typical grocery list:

  • Cheese: Goat, Cottage, Quark, Feta, Halloumi, Mozzarella
  • Dairy: Milk, Cream, Eggs, Sour cream
  • Meat: Sliced turkey or chicken breast (I avoid meat as much as possible, but sometimes it’s ok)
  • Fish: Salmon, Cod, Haddock, Mixed seafood, Squid, Crabmeat, Tuna
  • Veg: Rocket salad, Broccoli, Portobello mushrooms, Chopped carrots, Cauliflower, Cucumber, Avocado
  • Fruit: Watermelon, Blueberries, Strawberries, Raspberries
  • Other: Hummus, Nuts

And voilá! Not carby, not very processed & very healthy (yet tasty)!

  1. No carbs is really a “quick” solution, usually I do low fat diets, and I’ve been doing the low carb for more than 2 weeks now. I also love running/jogging every single day, and sometimes I just feel like I’m running out of energy eating no carbs, so I take like a toast or an apple before working out… I know we get used to this diet (and it’s actually happening) but don’t you feel tired or dizzy sometimes? Take care! 🙂

    • I exaggerate a little when I say I eat no carbs, cause clearly there are carbs in my grocery list as you can see, but very low amounts. Since I don’t have patience I need quick results other wise I can’t stay motivated to loose weight. For that reason I cut carbs out as much as possible. But like you say, it makes you tired as hell and combining it with exercise, is hard! There for I try and get my energy source from good fats instead, I eat cheese a lot, hummus, avocado and salmon. Good fats give you energy and keep your sugar levels stable. The good thing is that it keeps me full longer/quicker, so sometimes if I eat 600kcl of pure hummus for breakfast I skip lunch simply because I’m not hungry and stay like that for the rest of the day.

To avoid dizzyness I always make sure that If I feel it coming, I eat something small. I could never go that far that I have hunger that make me feel bad. The way I feel is always more important than any weigh loss or goal. 🙂
