I just cannot picture a lady, waking up in the morning at 7 a.m., grumble, complaining about her entire life, and finding fault with everything.
She’s sharp with her local barista, doesn’t tip the taxi driver, and growls at the cashier. She laughs at someone else’s pain.
When a fellow holds the door for her, she marches through without a “thank you”. And instead of helping a crying toddler to his feet, she steps over him.
Your thoughts and attitude – whether positive or negative – will reflect in you: in your voice, your personality, and even your actions.
A lady should be lovely and a delight to be around. But in order for her to be a pleasant company, she must have good thoughts about herself and others.
In other words, her interior landscape must be healthy.
If she only acts kind and positive but is actually nasty on the inside, as a result, she will come across as fake and insincere.
Even if she’s a good actress, one day her true self will still emerge, and she may gain a negative reputation. In the least, she will repel others, not attract them.
That’s why it’s important to be beautiful from the inside-out.
A few tips on thinking positively:
If you are caught in a negative spiral, stop yourself immediately, and list five things that you are grateful for.
2. See and touch five!
There is another technique to prevent yourself from the negative thoughts. While thinking negatively, immediately list five things that you can see and touch in your vicinity. This little exercise scrambles negative thinking.
3. Stop being around negative people.
If there are people in your life, who pull you down and always find fault with you, distance yourself from them. You want to be around those who love, accept, and support you. You love, accept, and support them in return.
4. Take a walk in nature.
Notice all the beauty around you. This is calming and great for your senses.
5. How does negative thinking change your life?
It doesn’t. Think of actions to improve your life now. Put your energy into change, not into what you don’t like or don’t have.
6. Be generous with your thoughts.
Try to see the positives in the book you’re reading, the meal you’re having at a restaurant, and the movie that you just watched.
7. NEVER be jealous of other women.
She’s unique, but so are you. She’s beautiful, but so are you. She may have something that you don’t, however we’re all on a different path and journey. Learn to love your journey.
To sum up, when you think positively, the world is not only a better place, but you are a better woman too!
