The question of how to have a vibrant personality is actually deeper than one might expect. Cambridge Dictionary defines vibrant as energetic, bright, and full of excitement and life. So, although the meaning of vibrant personality could look different for each person, there are common qualities that you can cultivate to be a more vibrant person, and they can be divided into three main categories:
- Your sense of self
- Your joie de vivre
- Your interactions
The Meaning Of Vibrant Personality
The most meaningful and important component of a vibrant personality has to do with your sense of self. Your identity has to be grounded in who you are and not what others think of you. Of course, how you interact with others is important, but that’s not the same thing as conforming. When you conform, you dim your own light. You also appear fake and dull, even if you have impeccable manners.
That’s why I love modern elegance. It’s about empowering you to navigate life in a way that radiates elegance without compromising your uniqueness. Uniqueness is the cornerstone of being a vibrant person.
So, it’s time to take whatever steps necessary to love yourself for who you are, whether through therapy, a supportive network, or spiritual practice.
How To Be A Vibrant Person
A vibrant person is someone who exudes joie de vivre. And this requires creating a life that you really love.
You need hobbies, social activities, and connections that excite and motivate you. For me, nothing gives me energy like being in nature or with my horse. I also love teaching elegance and elite femininity to wonderful women like you.
What about you? How do you get your energy and excitement? If you don’t have anything, I suggest you take out a pen and paper and start jotting down ideas. Then, put each one to the test.
Simple Ways To Make Your Personality More Vibrant
Embracing your authentic self and creating a life you love can take some time to do. In the meantime, you might want some quick tips to implement right now when you’re interacting with others:
- Smile more often – smiling doesn’t only make you more attractive, it can change your brain chemistry and lift your mood. But be aware! A fake smile will do the opposite. The secret to a genuine smile is that you actually look for things to enjoy in whatever situation you’re in.
- Be interested – have you ever had a conversation where the other person talked about themselves constantly and never gave you a chance? That gets dull pretty quickly, so don’t do the same thing. Be interested in other people. Ask them questions, listen to their stories, and give a compliment if it’s appropriate and from the heart.
- Be more playful – if the situation allows, you can lighten the mood by becoming more playful, making jokes, and having fun. Being playful could also be in the way you dress. For example, maybe you have a more flamboyant elegant style. Don’t know what your specific style is? Take my quiz!
Now, I understand that there are times where you might not be feeling too good, and that’s okay. If that’s the case right now, then your top priority is getting the help you need more so than on any of the above. And it’s likely that your vibrant personality will naturally shine through as you heal.
