From Plain Jane to JetsetBabe Part Two

Beauty Transformation

In Part 1 We’ve covered the most important area of improvement, and that is being yourself (having a great personality). Now it’s time to focus on the more superficial stuff – Beauty. How does a Jetset Babe stand out in comparison to plain Jane when we talk about beauty?  The answer is: everything is clean and tidy.

Beauty Transformation

While Plain Jane can be lazy with the up keep of her appearance, JetsetBabe is not! She put it as a priority to set aside both time and money for the upkeep and it pays off for her by showing a clear difference in looks.

When you meet a JetstBabe you immediately get the wow factor of how perfect everything seem to be.

Flawless skin, white teeth, perfect make up, perfect nails etc. She feels so fresh and glowing!

The truth of this story is that money will buy this essence of perfection, and for budget JetsetBabes it’s hard to play in the same field – but it’s still possible. It’s all about investing the same amount of time but trying to do as many things as possible yourself (DIY), and leave the rest to professionals salons. You have to see your looks as a constant renovation project with no end date, the maintenance need to be going strong on a weekly or even daily basis! But it’s all about your own decision and how much it’s worth for you.

Here are the tools for the transformation and remember: It is important to spend time and money on every single detail! After, all, it’s the small things that creates the entire package!

Let’s find out the JetsetBabe Beauty Maintenance Needs:

Beauty Transformation

FACE

– Flawless Skin:

Unless you’re born with flawless skin, you’ll be needing regular maintenance at a salon to make it look glowy instead of gloomy. Besides the daily skincare regime at home, various salon treatments are necessary. Especially if you suffer from problematic skin. The DIY option is to regularly do facials at home, although it won’t give the same results. Skincare is probably one of the most expensive parts of your beauty regime, and the less fortunate skin you have – the more your wallet will suffer!

– Perfect EyeBrows:

If you’re born with eye brows who are naturally “shaped” then I’d suggest you DIY the tweeze & tint at home. But if you have difficult eyebrows then go bi weekly to a salon and get them tinted and threaded. They will shape them for you and make sure they look perfect.

I must say one of the things that separate an expensive looking person from a shabby person is the way she keeps her eye brows. Tidy eye brows makes a person look CLEAN.

Beauty Transformation

– Long Eye Lashes:

Beautiful long eye lashes will give your entire face a lift. It’s such a simple trick to change your looks to the better, and an investment I recommend anyone to try! The best is to do this at a salon every 3rd week, but if you’re in saving mode like me then you can try my DIY method. (However I’ve been criticized for this hack, but if you wanna try go for it!)

– Face Injections:

Now days you can do all kinds of things with injections, but most common is lip enhancement, botox and fillers in the cheekbones. This is not something you can do DIY at home so going to the salon every 3 months is necessary for up keeping.

I must say not every JetsetBabe experiment with injections. I see many fresh faces who don’t have a single trace of fillers in their face and they look great, so don’t think you need to follow the stereotype “bimbo look” of huge lips and stiff face.

It’s honestly getting “out of fashion” that type of appearance.

But If you still wish to experiment, then I suggest
1. Do research on google of people who can recommend the best injector in town.
2. Go for a consultation and inject little by little so that you don’t risk “over doing it”. A big mistake is injecting everything at once just because you are impatient and not cautious of the results.
3. Aim for a natural result and tell all your friends to “slap you in the face “in case you go blind for the results. I see often sooo many girls who ruin their beautiful faces because they get blind and inject too much fillers ending up looking old, swollen and abnormal.

– Perfect Smile:

Teeth whitening is necessary in our coffee cultured generation. Teeth get stained either you want it or not! I must say I’m not the best expert in terms of teeth whitening. I’ve tried some at home but felt the results were not noticeable. Plus the time of running around with the thing in your mouth – not worth it! I rather go and do it once at a salon with a clear result then endless DIY trial & errors. Then again, I’m not an expert so if anyone of my readers know of a 100% fully working method for doing it at home, please share!

I also want to recommend investing in porcelain veneers if you have crooked teeth. Quite expensive but so worth it when you get the perfect smile and you won’t be needing the constant effort of going for teeth whitening as they cannot be bleached. (Plus you order them with the perfect white color)

Beauty Transformation

Hair

– Natural Hair color:

One of the worst things I know is fake looking hair color. It’s totally fine when someone has a quirky style á la Rihanna, but when someone has been experimenting too much at home – it’s really not hot! In many cases, beautiful girls end up looking cheap & trashy!

Especially when you try and color hair so it becomes blonde, many girls get that yellow dirty tone or platinum white (dry looking) hair. Not my cup of tea, honestly! For that reason I think a little bit less DIY and a little bit more coloring at a professional salon.

In this case it’s also important to find a good colorist. When I have my cheap days and go somewhere cheaper I really notice a difference from when I go to an expensive salon with high end reputation. Putting in that extra money for your hair color is important, especially if you color in light tones!

Beauty Transformation

– Suitable Hair cut:

I cut my hair myself at home – it’s very thin and my cut is very simple, so for me it’s acceptable. But people with thick hair, many layers or other special requirements need to go to a salon.

It’s important to understand what hair cut suits your face best, so do a proper examination through google or with your hairdresser.

Again, it’s important to find that special hairdresser that really understands you and your needs, what cut will make you look your very best. I don’t think I’ve managed to find my “special hairdresser” yet as most of the ones I go to disappoint me in some way. (tough love 😉 ) But it’s important to never give up and continue searching: do research online, ask friends and get recommendations. Once you find him/her hold on tight and don’t go to anyone else!

– Hair Length:

Let’s talk about extensions, as everyone seem to think that long hair or nothing in the jet set world. That’s really not the case I would say, it’s probably more “real looking hair or nothing in the jet set world” ;). I used to have really thick and long extensions since my hair never grows longer than a certain length, and I honestly looked so white trash since this hair ended up looking dry etc. Take Britney Spears as a bad example. There is something about her extensions or even the way she keep them that make her look trashy.

My advice is, unless you’re a pro and know it all about where to get the AAAAA+ quality of hair extensions, how to look after them and if you have the time to invest in this care then you might be able to DIY and use clip in’s or for a cheap buck let someone braid/or micro ring some extension in to your head.

But if you want to do this properly, then go to a salon with special knowledge of hair extensions, invest this money for fitting, coloring and shaping of the hair so it blends in perfectly with yours.

Otherwise there is really nothing wrong going extension less, mind you – loads of guys prefer it too! Short or mid length hair is fine, and with the right hair cut for you – you might not even need any extensions. Plus usually the really “rich looking” girls I’ve seen in all the 5star places don’t have very long hair. So think again 😉

  1. How to be a jet set babe according to me…

    1- Be fake
    2- Have lip injections
3- Have large and fake breasts of course
    4- Be a gold digger
5- Go and run after all rich men you see !
    6- Wear sexy (trashy) clothes
7- Be russian (sorry for all russians ;-))
    8- Love money
9- Use photoshop in your picture
10- Enjoy your new life with Louboutins, Hermes , Dior (ans say thank you to your boyfriendS with a big S …)

    • There are many different types of Jetset Babes and what you describe is one of the many many different types. I think my blog is more than this stuff, but if you don’t think so then please let me know so that I can be more clear in my posts & writing.

    • Everyone got it own life but these jet set girls are only “noticeable” for their fake life 😉
They remind me of prostitutes Oh I forgot 99% of them are whore 😉

      • Some of them are escorts, some of them are not. Some are very classy, some are trashy, some are very mainstream. There are so many different kinds of Jetset Babes. I think we should stop hating and start loving without trying to sound like a silly Dalai Lama. I just find inspiration in everyone, even in the ones who you may look down on. Everyone is human and beautiful.

  2. Catherine Anne on

I personally see it as taking great care of yourself. Not all of the women have had this done to them and they look very beautiful. I believe the difference with these women is they want to look beautiful for themselves and it gives them confidence where as a lot of women just don’t care enough about how they look.

  3. Catherine Anne on

Where are all of these negative comments coming from?? Then go look at another blog that interests you and let us enjoy all the work that she puts into this one which I’m sure takes a lot of time to do.

    • They come from me ! I am free to give my opinion like it or not it’s not your business .
This is only the truth and we (french people) say THE TRUTH IS BAD TO HEAR 😉

      • Catherine Anne on

Actually…as you said yourself….we are all entitled to our own opinions…and if you post it….you make it everyone’s business…cheers

  4. French woman consider another truism 😉 “Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact. Everything we see is a perspective, not the truth.” – Marcus Aurelius

that said, thanks to Catherine for putting the negative responses into perspective – everyone to their own opinion, I fully support that and totally do not understand why Ella seems to freak out in posting almost troll-like comments, in suggesting that these girls are involved in less than desirable business and even pointing at Russians in specific. Maybe Ella might consider looking for more pleasing content for her elsewhere (I heard there are great feminist blogs out there, might be a good outlet for this kind comments and gather more applause 😉

To the Jetsetbabe blogger: THANK YOU for keeping up this work, reminding of the beauty and aesthetic of things, life, bodies and women in particular! I take this blog as an inpspiration – not a ‘how to’ guide to life, or personal change. I love the pictures, and think it everyone own’s business to contextualize the content and pictures in your own life, goals and desires.

Please girls, let us use this blog for positive energy (not saying naive optimism or blatant deception!) – we are smart enough to understand the possiblities and limits of jetsetlife and I think it is obvious neither the blogger nor most readers take the jetsetlife at facevalue! it is an inspiration, as we would not try to imitate training lifestyles of professional athletes, while taking some of their strategies into account while working out on our own 😉

Cheers to a great blog, all women out there with their own views, goals, desires, bodies and beauty. Celebrate your own life and let others live (even the Russians ;)) the way they want. Amen.

    с любовью!
    Cath

  5. I just laughed so much when I read Ellas comments 🙂 i live in the south of France and this is a classic French woman attitude I come across almost everyday!
Keep on celebrating feminine beauty, you are doing a great work JetSet Babe! 😀
To the subject of the post… I was 100% sure I wanted to do veneers but a dentist friend got me thinking otherwise. Even if veneers look good and never get stained, they can cause accumulated bacteria between the real tooth and the veneer. On the other hand, a deep teeth whitening at a saloon hurts so much. Still waiting for a good cruelty free solution on this one. For fake hair, Balmain does it well. And for anti cellulite, try LPG, it really works.
    Keep on posting! Bisous 🙂

  6. There are also very young and impressionable girls reading this blog and I don’t think it’s right to promote such things as variety of injections. Majority of these jet-set babes all look fake with fake lips, fake boobs, fake derriere etc There is absolutely nothing classy about that! Take away all the fake attributes and what is left? Nothing but an empty, insecure shell. Also, I have feeling that majority of the jet set babes are not married. Men tend to marry the so-called plain janes. I would not marry a girl who looks like an inflatable blow-up doll. It would give me a fright and a possible heart attack every time I would turn around in bed at night.

Girls, keep it real, look after yourself through eating clean and healthy balanced diet, doing regular exercise, look after your skin, nails and hair etc Learn the basics of make-up and dressing for your body etc But most importantly, find a real passion and meaning in your life, something that makes you smile and voila! You don’t need plastic fantastic trout pout lips!

    • I don’t feel I’m pushing anyone in to getting injections, I’m just reporting that THIS IS what many girls in the jet set world do. I think we live in a liberal world where everyone should decide for themselves if its’ right or wrong to use injections, and I don’t think a blog like mine shall preach and decide for people what to do. I like to show both options, talking about the fact that many people do them, but also sharing my opinion that I personally don’t do it myself because I prefer natural lips. Then the reader can be a grown up and decide herself. And yes, I do have young readers who may not be grown ups, but they need to experience the world as it is, pretty damn harsh at times. But that’s exactly how we grow up – and nobody should put people in a protective shell because that’s not how you learn in life.

  7. I find that I prefer using homemade organic treatments for my face and hair, lemon for blazing dark spots and creating natural highlights, honey as an acne astringent and moisturizer, vitamin e to make hair strong and shiny, henna to dye hair, rice flour to keep skin even, and I LOVE coconut oil, it’s great instead of lotion (the skin absorbs it better) and for face and hair treatments. Plus you smell like the beach. Instead of eyelash extensions (my eyelashes literally get mascara on my sunglasses,) I apply a mixture of castor oil and vitamin e every night before bed, and it helps them grow longer and fuller. I really just don’t like damaging my hair and skin with chemicals that are in so many products and it definitely makes for less up keep because my skin and hair stay healthy and there is no damage control!

  8. I used Crest Whitestrips for a while and got a really good result 🙂 You can try them, they have different types (I used Glamorous White) XO

  9. Why all the hate on here? I personally love this blog and love the styles of many of the Jetset girls. I think it’s great they put so much effort in to their looks, and I personally strive to do the same!! I don’t care if some people think it makes girls look “fake” or “plastic”. Do what you feel is best for you I say, and all the haters should take a look in the mirror and ask themselves why are they here in the first place??

  10. I know this might sound strange but what about fringes, a lot of the girls you post don’t have fringes? They’re alright aren’t they?
