I’ve already written briefly about skiing in following posts (here and here), but I will dig deeper into ski fashion and what the JetsetBabes are wearing in the mountains. Perhaps you are going for the first time on a ski trip and have no clue what to pack or what to wear? Or you’re already an experienced skier, but would like some inspiration on what to wear and what others are wearing.
I want to start off my ski-special posts by talking about the famous ski suit. I’m sure some of you have seen it circulating already on Instagram! Some of them are quite bright in color, and it’s difficult not to miss them on the slopes.
The Russian women love them, perhaps due to the bold factor, attracting a lot of attention.
I would personally not wear a ski suit in a strong color (see below the metallic, neon, etc.) unless I was a very experienced skier. If you have all eyes on you and you’re a beginner, you might regret having an outfit that makes you stand out so much. But on the contrary, it’s good to have something that makes you very visible, especially when you ski on days with poor visibility.
So why would a person choose a ski suit instead of the standard two-set piece? I asked around a little, and it seems that there is no real reason. None of the two options are better than the other; they are both equally warm and comfortable. Perhaps it’s a matter of taste and looks! They sure look cozy and must be very comfortable, covering your entire body from shoulder to toes. And in order to stay warm, as an addition you need to have a quality base layer. But I will cover that in my next ski-special.
Here is some inspiration of the most common ski suit. If I’m not mistaken, it’s one same brand and it’s very popular. So many of the trendy JetsetBabes are seen in it! I found the brands Instagram, and it’s @odri_fashion.
Don’t miss my next ski special with more ski fashion worn by JetsetBabes; you can follow all the posts here.
