1. The Alaïa Dress

Will I ever get enough of my love for Alaïa dresses? Probably not. I’m also a secret fan of Victoria Silvstedt outfits. If I would tweak her style to perfection I would ged rid of her blonde big hair-do as it feels like it belongs to a Real housewives of bla bla bla show season 1.

It’s just that there is something about these cute dresses that are so damn flattering to the female body and hour glass curve, that you can’t get enough of them! Plus the texture and material is damn nice too. The only minus about these dresses is that they are so heavy and that’s something that annoys me, I prefer lighter clothing 🙂 But on the other hand, you get what you pay for, and for 2-3k a dress you sure want something out of strong and proper quality, which you’ll get from Alaïa dresses.

2. The two-piece ensemble

The high waisted 50’s skirt together with it’s minature crop top is a big trend on many Jet set Babes fashion agenda right now. I’ve personally not invested in a duo of this kind yet, but after seeing this picture I’m getting very interested.

The only problem and I say it from a travellers point of view, is that these skirts are so annoying to pack! They take loads of luggage space and get easily wrinkled, so it’s not something that can follow me on my Asia part 2 journey 🙁 .

Btw, I love this lavender colour, so elegant.

3. The sexy maxi dress

This maxi dress is so gorgeous, I love the back detail with the ruffles. I think this dress is perfect if you want to achieve a sexy look without feeling under dressed, as it covers just enough skin!

4. The center piece skirt

50’s skirts keep on dominating I must admit. What’s so lovely with this outfit is how the skirt stands alone as a piece of art, like a center piece, matched with black details to enhance it’s bright colours.

5. The Chanel Dress

Sometimes everything a girl needs is a simple dress from Chanel and a pair of black heels, and she is good to go! This is the advantage of certain designer brands which screams luxury – you don’t need much else to look like the most chic woman in town. This dress is so perfect because it can be worn anywhere! To work, at night, for dinner or just to be out and about. Luckily it’s conservative without giving that grandma feeling, yet give a perfect amount of sex appeal to look like an elegant and stylish woman.

1. Lace Dress

Ahh. Sexy lace dress but still acting classy. Why? Arms are covered and the length gives the illusion to go to the knee, making it look more appropriate even though the lace gives that strong sex appeal. This is the type of dress I love for evenings out, when you want to feel sexy but not slutty! Amazing. I would have chosen beige heels and another bag to make the look according to my taste.

2. Pastel Pink

I have written about pastel pink before, but this is such a nice combo put together I had to include it today! Everything in pink besides the white top giving some contrast. The Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses are working so well with this entire girly look, especially with one of the flowers matching the outfit. Another reason why I personally enjoy this outfit is because the jacket is not very girly, giving it a good contrast to the rest. And btw, what an amazing skirt – perfect for day time activities when you want to be dressed up!

3. Asymmetric and interesting

Not sure if this is a dress or a top with a skirt? But hey, that does not matter because this outfit is stunning. So simple but with it’s asymmetric cut very interesting to look at, feels very chic. The skirt being on the shorter side does not signal “sex” (which I find good for day time outfits) because of the way it is fitted. A big plus for the beige heels, works so well with the gorgeous colour of the clothes.

4. Balmain Dress

This amazing creation by Balmain is simply a piece of art. What can you say? You do not even need to make yourself pretty but to still look chic as hell in this dress. I love the way it glimmers, feels like an outfit for a true rockstar. I hope this dress ends up in a museum one day, it truly deserves it.

5. Maxi see-through dress

LnFamily is a russian designer which I enjoy to follow. They have so many beautiful dresses but this one is their absolute top seller. It is unique and interesting. I would have probably removed the Chanel necklace she is wearing and just let the dress speak for itself. But then again, I am the type who thinks less is more. Anyway, the dress is stunning, love it!

6. Yellow and Lime ensemble

In a way this look may be slightly “too much” with all it’s colourful items. But I think we need to break our habits of dressing so modest at times and start to experiment more by being bold like in this case. I love the pencil skirt, so chic. The top she is wearing is one of those items you would see hanging left over from a 70% clearance sale and you would ask yourself “WHEN would I ever wear anything like this and to WHAT?”. Well, here is a good example of how a fashionista can create an interesting outfit by playfully combining random clothes. Great job, the outfit is superb!

7. Button down front Dress

I keep spotting these dresses once in a while, they are so classy and stylish! I wish I could find more of them in the mainstream shops. They are perfect for day time, when you want to look feminine but have some cover. You can always unbutton as much as you want, showing a little bit of skin like in this picture. I love how she matches the beautiful beige/black with red heels. Perfect colour combination!

8. Orange Maxi Dress

I must admit, I strongly dislike the colour orange on clothes. But when I saw this dress, how could I not like it? It is gorgeous. Feels so girly, feminine and elegant in it’s own way. A dress like this could be worn by someone who is husband hunting because if you see a girl wearing this, you would definitely think “wife material”. A big plus for the sleeves, the cut out for the leg and the beige fabric showing underneath – excellent color combination!

9. 50’s skirt with bling top

This outfit is just too cool. If she would walk in to a room and sit down next to me, I would feel like the most boring Plain Jane in the world, haha. Not but honestly it is amazing how she is combining a conservative 50’s skirt with this blinged top acting very futuristic. Lovely colours as well, and the hair cut matching the rest of the look.

10. Dolce & Gabbana Owl Dress

Dolce & Gabbana are continuing to make “it dresses” for fall. This season we have the red owl dress like shown below. One issue that I have is that I can never wear anything red if my skin is pale. There is something with red on white that I don’t really like. But in this case, she totally rocks it! Pale skin, red dress, red heels – red everything! What a way to go! Feminine and stylish!

2. Embroidered pencil skirt

Not sure if it’s the colour that makes me fall in love or the combination of the stylish Gianvito Rossi heels, who knows. But I love the fact that this model that doesn’t make you look sexy, as normally that’s the job of the usually fitted pencil skirt. This one the other hand simply makes you look stylish and chic. Me like.

3. White interesting Dress

Interesting dress, not sure what to call it! It’s cool because it’s unique, original design that you have never seen before. Fashion like this is refreshing, yet I don’t know where I would myself wear this dress – but that could signify that I’m boring in my fashion sense 🙂 No matter what, I think this piece is supercool! (Not on myself though)

7. Day time dressed up

Miu Miu crystal heels again with a cute day look. Wearing this outfit for a lunch or semi casual drinks with your girlfriends, great choice! The skirt is the absolute centre piece of this outfit, and it being almost too sexy for daytime is good to dress down with a cardigan or jumper that is more covering.

8. The Black little dress

Is this a Dolce & Gabbana dress or am I mistaken? I Loooooveeee the lace detail and the cut of the dress. So glamorous yet classic. This dress could be worn by Brigitte Bardot in the 50’s but it works so well on anyone, simple but looks like a million dollars.

9. Pastel Green

Another short dress that is chic because it’s covered up and with original design. So pretty. Loving the pastel green or if it’s turquoise? Does look great even if not worn with a tan in this picture! A big plus for the nude coloured heels, do you see how it extends the look of the leg? Amazing!

10. Flowy Maxi Dress

Another dress which has movement to it, possibly to it’s cut and material. Extremely cute shoulders, giving that girly look – almost like a dress made for a doll. It signals purity and elegance at the same time. Gorgeous colour – love it.
